Story

Get to Know Us

The China Affairs Forum is dedicated to studying China affairs from an objective and nonpartisan perspective. Founded by students at George Washington University, our goal is to foster rigorous, evidence-based research on Chinese affairs both within the country and how China shapes the world. Engage with us by reading our original research and weekly newsletter and participating in our regular speaker and discussion events.

Our Values

1

Non-partisanship

CAF does not endorse or prescribe policy positions. We are an independent organization that provides an open platform for all students, regardless of political persuasion.

2

Objectivity

CAF aims to create original, fact-based research on Chinese foreign and domestic affairs. All claims must be supported by cited evidence from reputable sources.

3

Student-Led

CAF offers a platform for students to explore and develop their understanding of Chinese domestic and foreign affairs in a space that promotes open debate, inquiry, and discussion.
